Stable view is not that difficult to maintain if you consider the following advise
What you need is offcourse your hardware setup and the place of your seat in front of you screen or multiple screens.
I use opentrack from github latest version and as long as it work i wont upgrade
I use multiple screens total of 5, two straight in front for left and right screen and two on each side one than i have one on top in the middle of the two front screens.
Now if you use 1 screen decide if you want to sit to to left or right of the center then start trackingsoftware, and calibrate from were you sit and in this sorftware set the diagonal degree 10° is min (fast) and 90° max (slow)
Now for the sim itself realize that all works from circulair perspectif so first insim set the view in camera settings in wide view angle
Set the zoomlevel from cockpit to 95 to 100%
Of center left or right to your liking (i allign on yoke on my left frontscreen)
Then with the controller i move right and set it to bezel between frontscreen left and right
It looks like this
The left and right screens does not matter for they follow and dont worry about the bezels
For you going to learn to use them as reference and when looking behind them in flight you get a very cool effect but it has to do with focus and periphal view and fooling your brains or peanut.
Now when cockpit is set with zoomlevel and everything is big and bright also in outside view and droneview, it is time to when back in cockpitview to translate this view into position when all outside stays big and bright.so translate view back forth left and right to the seat now fov (field of view) is set
And it is time to finally start your tracking device.
Two thing are important i mentioned before diagonal field of view and calibration of the camera
When you are sure about this then press start so tracking is start.
Now you can set it up by mapping the movement and set the boundaries of your movement
In the normal way to your comfort just fly and tweak until you like
Also make a copy of this.
and tweak a new one for different stage of flight like takeoff, cruise or landing so you can select these trought these stages of flight with your setup in game as it takes a second or two to switch profile
Also you can tilt or bank the view in this section with adapted neutral position.
