I just crossed the 1000 hours threshold in the sim recently too!
Really our logbook functionality is not that great in MSFS, I am very glad I started using Little Nav Map to log all my flights quite a while ago. Who knows if there will be continuation of the logbook for MSFS 2024 vs 2020, it could be a start from scratch again as far as logging so, another good reason to have a log outside of the sim itself.
The latest version of LNM now has a new built in logbook query that shows you hours/flights per aircraft as well as first and last flight dates.
