How many hours have you flown so far?

I hit the logbook bug last week at 3,912. They REALLY need to fix that.

I just hit 60 hours. That’s after 1 year with MSFS. I only fly an hour or two a week on average.

Is there any way to save this to a spread sheet or another ‘virtual’ logbook ?

Use a third party app like Volanta with that capability. I didn’t find it until 500+ hours in. It’s always running when I fly now. Plays well with Simbrief too.

I have 2760+ hours in MSFS 2020, but I haven’t been able to log any flight hours after that due to the logbook file size issue that stops you from logging flight hours. I’ve added another 230 flight hours on XPlane 12 since leaving MSFS 2 months ago. I have another 1200 hours in XPlane 11.

For some reason I never heard of Volanta. Downloaded this tool and really like it. With that said, it’s a lot like SimToolKitPro. Both tools are great and have their nice features. Thanks for the tip

Volanta got some pretty cool updates today. I’ve been running STK simultaneously for the last few days. Volanta has it beat. It’s not close in my opinion. Either way, use one of the two to backup your data. It’s essential.

About 20 hours solo.

Huge planet out there. You’ve got tons to check out. Congrats on the first 20.

I strongly suggest picking a third party platform to run w/the sim to track your data. STK or Volanta are your friends. Both are free.

557 and counting. I would probably be over 700 if it weren’t flights that CTD’d or where there was a bug I was experiencing where the logbook would not log my flights, and therefore the hours obviously!

I am always looking for people to fly with! Does not matter if you want to fly GA, Fighter Jets, Airliners, Helicopters, and Gliders which I am not the best with, but maybe some of you kind glider enthusiasts could help me out, haha?!

Send me a message on Xbox (SRLMJ23) just saying you want to play Flight Sim (just so I know it is not just some random) and we can work out the details from there.

Enjoy the skies, my friends!

Hi SRLMJ23, I’m so sorry für asking, but i did Not found anybody who could help me and in cause of your much hours of playing I’ve got an Special question. I will buy an ProFlight TPM System by Saitek for the MSFS 2020, but I do Not know, If thus worka, because the TPM System (normal Throttle for Cessna or anything Like this little Airplanes) IS old. Like 8 Years. I Hope you could Help me. I’m really sorry for asking and for my Bad english. Greetings

And I know this isnt a Forum for that stuff, but i’m New and Not good in Englisch :,( Sorry

Doing something similar in the default Citation CJ4, what a jet!

+16 hours after I’m done with this in a little over 3. 3,950 in the logbook.

I lost my log on 100 hours and reset it and now I got 55 min and its stop logging again!
Need to fix it! No fun if you can´t log your flights.

The logging in MSFS is rubbish, we all know that. I lost my log entries twice now. It doesn’t count take offs and landings consistently (especially water landings). My current flight hours are 376 but Steam shows > 2,000 hours.

The only thing I really use the logbook for is to repeat a flight. Otherwise, what does it matter? You don’t level-up and get rewards. No one is framing their sim pilot status (I hope).

Just rolled to 1k

Fighting against the timebomb of a wipe of my log if I do too many more flights before this “compression” fix comes out with SU13 next week!!

As I understand it, when this hits 16mb it will be wiped… I think I will make it - or use Dev Mode for the last few days!

My logbook stopped recording sometime last year I was at 1700 hrs. Hoping this update today fixes that and I can start logging hours again. If I add my volanta hours since the logbook failure I should be around 2500 hrs….

wonder if there will ever be a way to fix lost time, or will I have to hang out with the alien abductees

It says I’m at 25 hours, mostly sight seeing around ny neighborhood in Los Angeles :slightly_smiling_face:
