Anyone knows how to ask for a refund from MS Store.
They don’t give the option to do it.

I’ll just point out this was for the Orbx London Landmarks and not the sim itself, as more than happy with it.

I haven’t found a way to contact support for this.
What they have is an automated program which directs you to a lot of meaningless pages and the recommended action is not possible because the option to ask for the refund does not appear.
It is a shame.
I did it three days ago by phoning the Microsoft Store help number and there was no problem and the refund is now in my bank account.
Xbox.com/refund is the location Customer Service has offered. They should offer a DVD set for American customers, since the rest of the world can receive one.
Can you refund scenery? How do they prevent people from keeping a copy?
This is the most ignorant of a response from the Microsoft store I’ve seen.
To see if something works or not for a digital download of software, you have to install it and load it and see if it physically works on your setup at home or work or space…
How else can you see if you got what you paid for?
I mean really?
You only get a refund if you don’t install it and turn it on??? That’s not a refund policy in any country.
This needs to be reported to the company.

if you pre-ordered the game, say on August 4, 2020, you will already fall out of the refund window of 14 days. I’ve been trying to download this program for almost two weeks unsuccessfully. Microsoft, you need to send out DVD sets to your faithful customers that are not able to download.
No this site is only to Request an Xbox subscription refund. No MS Store.
Anyway I suggest now to wait until next week because they will address the installation problems
Can the moderators or developers share with everyone how to get a refund If there are issues making the game not work or run and people have been trying over for a week?
I mean you kind of have to install the installer no matter what to get the actual game files, wether that works or not well…
So Microsoft will not refund us for the purchase of the game because we installed the installer and digital key to try and download the game?
That’s called defective consumer practice also know as being scammed or swindled!
I’m also referring to the Microsoft store purchases not steam, steam has been gracious enough to give your money back no matter what for Microsoft’s blunder!

Re-read his post. That was not from Microsoft about the base game. That was from Orbx regarding an addon.
I requested a refund because I bought a copy from steam, because the Xbox version I couldn’t get my controller to work properly and in order to work on it I have to alter some of the files I couldn’t on the Xbox version they were all locked. Now they tell me they cannot refund my money for the Xbox purchase because it’s digital so now I wound up paying double because I bought two copies and I’m stuck with one. I think it’s bull ■■■■ digital or not if it’s not working proper you should be able to get our money back.

like i said I am stuck with 2 copys of the delux verson too Im out 119$ they do not care about there customers $$$$$$$$ all that matters notice how man EXTRAS they are releasing in just this week instead of including them especaly in the delux version…GREED
Some of ya’ll need to learn what a credit card chargeback is, lol. I am happy enough to keep the game, but Microsoft’s refund policy is laughable when American Express would have my money back in a few days.
