I saw a video a while ago where somebody brought up a map of the pattern to fly when approaching an airport. I can’t find the video or any reference on how to do it. Can anyone help? Thanks.
I’m fairly sure that feature isn’t available in MSFS by default. Is it possible they were using a third-party service like Navigraph?
Was probably an approach plate. You can download them online, or use tools like Navigraph (I dont own, but I believe it provides them). Also have a look at LittleNavMap.
That is the easiest thing to do with Littlenavmap, click on an airport and … or add an airport to a flight plan , click on the airport and …, it will draw it for you in the map.
Thanks! That was the video I had seen.
You can get a fairly good idea on world map after you select an arrival ap, then select approach and runway in the upper right boxes.
You can change both to see the differences but they are not plates, good enough for those not interested in getting more in depth or just a quick flight.
