All i find are guides for a year or more that talk about using developers tool to get repaly functions. But that doesn’t appear to be valid as you now have your own options just to turn on replay. But nobody will explain which button to press to get the replay bar up/start recording

This is an older article, so the steps to display the replay tool (1.1 and 1.2) have changed.
To start the tool, go to General Options, Experimental, and select Replay Tool to “On”.
It is then accessible from the On Screen Tool Bar as per step 1.3
Everything else is the same.
