If you want to use FSDG’s “Landmarks of Germany” and don’t want to miss the powerlines from MAMU’s “Powerlines and Solar Farms”, here’s a little tutorial for you:
1st step:
Search in the “Community Folder” for the FSDG folder:
BaWü = fsdg-glx_bw
Hesse = fsdg-glx_he
Thuringia = fsdg-glx_th
In the following, I take the example BaWü. But it works just as well with the other federal states.
2nd step:
Go to the appropriate scenery folder:
\Community\fsdg-glx_bw\scenery\FSDG-GLX_BW
3rd step:
Rename or delete the following files:
-
glx_powerpoles_minor_bw_v1.bgl
-
glx_powertowers_bw_110_v1.bgl
-
glx_powertowers_bw_220_v1.bgl
-
glx_powertowers_bw_380_v1.bgl
-
glx_powertowers_bw_sm_v1.bgl - #Here you may have to replace bw by he or th or the matching federal state.
After that the double masts are gone and you have only your MAMU masts incl. the lines.
Have fun with it!

Update for the new landmarks (especially MSFS2024):
Step 1:
Deactivate:
- glx_powertowers_sn_110_v1.bgl → glx_powertowers_sn_110_v1.off
- glx_powertowers_sn_220_v1.bgl → glx_powertowers_sn_220_v1.off
- glx_powertowers_sn_380_v1.bgl → glx_powertowers_sn_380_v1.off
Keep this so that the poor Asobo wind generators can be replaced (do not change anything here!!!):
- x_glx_sn_excludes_windgenerators.bgl
- windgenerators_sn_v2.bgl
Step 2:
Then set MAMU Design in MSFS2024 to a higher priority than the FSDG Landmarks:
Settings → General → Advanced Options: Tool for reordering packages
(Info: Here, the scenery is built from top to bottom. Packages at the top of the list form the basis, and the packages further down are then painted over them.)
This means that MAMU must be sorted below the FSDG packages.
Example:
-
fsdg-glx_aa
-
fsdg-glx_bb
-
fsdg-glx_bw
-
fsdg-glx_**…
-
a-mamudesign-powerlines
-
a-mamudesign-solarfarms
etc.
