QQ: Is there any way to turn off the onscreen information on the external view during a flight so it’s appears clean for capturing pictures ?
Maybe setting an on/off keyboard switch perhaps?

Options->Camera->Chase Camera->Instrument Heads-Up Display->Off
If you do a search on the forum, some months ago someone posted a mod for it. It allows you to toggle it on and off from the external view directly without having to dig into 6 layers of menus to get to the option.
Thanks! It’s GTK the menu options, but yes, I’d rather have a “switch”. If you find it, please get back to me… I’ll look for it too.
It’s called the Hidden-UI mod. It will be there somewhere.
