How to turn on ai flight assistant?

I am not sure how to turn on the AI flight assistant or autopilot like MSFS 2020

I think they remove it!!! I was using it to taxi in 2020 and sometimes save my flying. I saw some disabled peoples use it to fly in some posts here. And then, believe it or not : BOOM! it’s gone in 2024… was not perfect but was working enough to bring you from gate to gate… what a shame!

I’m at disabled veteran so yes it needs to be added back at times I’m fine without it as I was a pilot. But at times I’m in so much pain ever greatly helps me

Also the other issue is the hotas flight controls do not work the way they are mapped make an even worse that I have to redo everything and readjust everything

Can I asked you why you think this fit in “Community support” as for sure the feature is not there? Would nt be better in “Missing Feature”?

The 1st post is requesting help “to turn on the AI flight assistant or autopilot”, that is why it has been moved to the User Support Hub.
Looks like it has been confirmed that this functionality has not been implemented in Archives > MSFS 2024. There is no “Missing Feature” category but after a quick search I found an existing wish, don’t hesitate to participate there:

I think they are going to implement it as when you look in the controller configs and click the tools section in there it says flight assistant ?

How to change settings for cursor mode in MSFS2024 on Xbox?

In MSFS2020 there were settings for being in cursor mode…like AI Pilot, Visual Support etc. Can’t find these settings in MSFS2024. When I fly with the Citation for example and enable cursor mode when in the outside view, the plane is automatically flown by the Autopilot including changes in altitude, speed and height. Also the symbols [ ] where to fly are shown. How to I change the settings for this. No Icon in the menu includes this settings… Please advise This was the setting in MSFS2020 …

I found this link on YouTube that may help. You copy a file from MSFS2020 and paste it into the communoty folder of MSFS 24.

It worked for me.
I often use the assistant when doing a pleasure flight.
