Is there something to be installed on a pc when I want to use FS2020 to play? Should I first install some XBOX software that I need for playing FS2020 on a pc?
I have FS2020 since end august and up to now O just was not able to start a flight as I did with previous FSX or older sims. It is just a puzzle to me because it is so enormously different from all previous sims. I tried to learn some more from the squirrel videos, but it just did not help me to solve the puzzle…

I simply installed it like any other sim and it works fine. You will need an XBox/MS account.

Especially “How to maintain and update Microsoft Flight Simulator”. I btw had to install the English (United States) Language Pack ( Start button, then select Settings > Time & Language, * Go to Speech > Manage Voice) and the xbox app via microsoft store on my pc to get the game running. What is a XBox/MS account?
I have a regular Microsoft account, I have the registry codes that were with the box and the DVD’s, do you tell me that this is not sufficient? Where wil I order such aXBox/MS account?

It’s also worth checking that your PC is updated before you install the sim using the DVD’s
