How's the DEM/topography in the Patagonia area?

I know The Andes/Patagonia area of South America hasn’t gotten the lovin treatment yet sadly, so I wanted to check and see how that area is anyway and if it’s had any upgrade at all since 2020. Does it look really good with lots of topographical detail? Or is it fairly bland? Was hoping to go sightsee some of the gargantuan glaciers down there.

the glaciers are good, even at the end when they brake into the lakes. The mountains are a mixed bag: volcanoes are OK, the real craggy mountains are extremely bad. Look e.g. for Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre and compare sim vs. reality (but there is payware for it…)

thanks for the first hand account, was wondering if maybe people never fly in that area of the world in the sim
