I did my first group flight today

It was fun. I got some good practice in, and the group seemed to have a good rapport. At the end I was parked and a couple of guys hopped into fast jets and started going a little crazy. One was in an F-22 zooming around and buzzing me, and the other was in an F-35 that hovered to a landing right next to me. Thing is, I don’t own an F-22 or an F-35, so they looked like generic airliners (Airbus?) floating in the air and doing high-G manouvers.

It would be nice if the sim could show us low-res versions of the actual planes in multi-player. But what the heck - it was funny and fun.

This is the perfect scenario for M3, the Multiplayer Model Matching tool on fs.to.

You can match those planes to something you do have, like the F-18, and at least you’ll see something believable.

Sounds like fun. I’m new to MSFS. Looking forward to joining some groups once I learn how to fly the game
