EFOB not existent and MILES TO DESTINATION not decreasing - been at this distance for entire flight - soon will land.

Also - I always keep Asobo A320neo centre tank empty because engine cuts out when the centre fuel runs out (just adding that bug in as well.

I hope when SIm Update 15 releases Asobo can sort out their very own default airplane’s basic systems of MCDU fuel calculation-destination and centre tank exhaustion.

Would be quite something for INBUILD’s V2 Neo to blow them out the water just with having basic MCDU functions operating properly - even LATIN VFR’s A320 MCDU has accurate destination…

Using this version of A320neo livery.

Why would they? When the inibuild is in there by default, there’s no much sense into burning dev hours on this.

It’s supposed to blow them out of the water. That’s why they included it in the first place.

Hi @xjay12347406 ,

Topic has been moved to the User Support Hub User Support Hub > Aircraft & Systems
As per the forum rules, only 1 issue is permitted when reporting a bug.
Regarding the Distance to destination issue there is an existing report:

For the EFOB issue, look in the bug category if that issue has not been reported yet before creating a new one using the provided template.
Thank you !

Since January 2022…

2.5 years later and still not sorted…

Okay.

Could somebody confirm for me, please, if Asobo MCDU on the A320neo does the MILES TO DESTINATION calculation reduce as getting closer to destination? (Like on LATIN VFR’s Airbus variants).

Miles to destination is displayed beside the destination on the bottom of the flight plan page as well as time at destination and fuel remaining at destination. In the PROG page, you can see distance to the next action. So during climb phase you will see distance and time to top of climb. In cruise phase you will see distance and time to top of descent. In the descent page, you will see distance and time to next altitude constraint. All working perfectly as it would in the real Airbus

EDIT: I got mixed up thinking it was the inibuilds A320Neo that was meant and not the Asobo one which is probably still broken

Hi Azlog.

Yes - but are you sure that is the case for the Asobo A320Neo???

Because currently the miles to destination is broken when you are 50NM away it still has the destination miles as if you have just taken off from departure!

So are you sure it is on the Asobo A320neo where they have finally fixed this issue, on the MCDU, after practically 3 years.

Hi @xjay12347406,

I have moved this topic from the SU15 Beta Discussion category to the User Support Hub > Aircraft & Systems category, as it is the appropriate one for your topic.

You have been reminded about posting in incorrect categories numerous times in the past. Please ensure you check which category your topic should be posted in going forward.

Thanks

Oops sorry I just saw “A320Neo on the sim update 15 beta” and assumed you meant the inibuilds one. No the default Asobo one probably still has very little functionality as it isn’t being updated in any way. It should have the distance to destination on the flight plan but very little else I believe - it’s very a been long time since I last used it
