Hello,
I was playing and all of the sudden my screen pulls back fast to the far back of the pilot seat and I can’t zoom anymore or free look (right mouse button not responsive) Something is preventing me to zoom and free look. I uploaded 2 videos with link below of the issue.
I tried to Uninstall and deleted all game files then did a fresh install and problem still there. Something is preventing me to zoom. Please help I can’t play without zooming around cockpit or even free look not working unless I turn it on on the camera menu but still don’t look right.
Please check the videos and tell me what I’m doing wrong.

UPDATE****
I FIXED IT!!!
I followed this
edit: Thats for the steam version, I’m not sure for the microsoft store version
Resetting the profile (including logbook) is possible, at least with the Steam version.Look for a file kh_logbook in the Steam program folder. Delete all files in that folder. Start FS with Cloud sync off (that can be configured in Steam). A new profile will be set up. Quit FS. Then change Steam settings back to Cloud sync and start FS again. Steam will complain that there is a conflict between the Cloud files and the local files and you can choose which ones you want to keep. Choose the new local settings and you are done.
Hi, are you using any third party face tracking like TrackIR or tracknoir? This could be causing a conflicting issue, also, if your HOTAS has a hat switch for views, ensure none of them are depressed in anyway.
Did you check to see if the command was still bound to the button?
A few individual settings were changed somehow in the last patch.
View buttons seem to have been affected the most.
Any button that can be used to look around or change views in cockpit or externally. I’ve found an issue with my Thrustmaster throttle that a bug occurs if I accidentally touch the joystick on it and it moves the camera around, it won’t re-center perfectly all the time thus causing camera issues. Try and make sure all of your view buttons are not pressed-in, clicked, and centered.
I checked all the buttons on throttel and none is pressed. I can zoom fine outside the aircraft. but when in cockpit thats when it doesnt work. I even unplugged all joysticks and only left my keyboard and mouse and issue still there. zoom works fine and middle mouse and left mouse click works fine in free look outside the aircraft. This is definatly an glitch caused by last update. I hope osobo fixed this issue asap I cant enjoy playing the game now till they fix this issue I hope.
How can I make them aware of this issue so I make sure they fix it?
thanks
Enter a zendesk report under support at the top of the page, but I doubt it is a glitch.
Normally glitches appear to more than one user. I have never seen this issue before.
I really suspect it is something on your end, we just haven’t figured out what yet.
Another idea, check your mouse inputs to see if there is any other commands bound to them.
Are you still in modern flight mode?
Another thing to try would be to restore all default settings.
If you can, try another mouse and keyboard for testing only.
If it is still the same, I would have a look at the key assignments of the mouse and keyboard. Maybe something has changed at the assignments.
please explain how can I retore all default settings in cloud or sync?
I’m not talking about the default of the controls. I want to reset/restore all default settings of the whole game so I can start fresh. When I did uninstall and reinstall settings were the same as I left it (for ex; resolution settings were still at where I left it off before uninstalling.
mouse works fine. If I use the external camera I’m able to zoom and free look, even the buttons on my joystick (for changing the camera) work fine outside the cockpit. Its when I’m inside the cockpit those buttons don’t work at all.
I would check the assignments on the keyboard once more. When outside of the cockpit is it working, and inside not, it should be the assignments of the camera.
What I’m wondering is if something else is commanded as well when you click.
Restoring defaults is easy, but has to be done section by section.
A bit time consuming, but not hard.
Here it is:
Start sim.
Go to options at the top of the screen.
Click on General
From the left menu(for example: graphics)
Click on the item (ex: graphics)
At the bottom of the screen click on “Reset to Defaults”.
The pop up will ask you if you want to continue, obviously if you do, click that.
You need to do that for each item in the left hand menu that you want to reset.
The same applies to Assistance settings.
Controls is a bit different.
In Controls each item, keyboard, mouse, stick, etc is listed across the top.
Below each one is a box with a side arrow menu selector.
Click the arrow until “Default” appears in the box…
Again, do for each item you went to reset to default.
