I need help, the simulator crashes after the New Zealand Update

I need urgent help, a few hours ago between 1 PM and 4 PM my simulator was perfectly fine, but when the new zealand update arrived recently, I started the problem that the simulator crashed when it was loading on the loading screen after from an update of about 7GB, and now I can’t start the simulator like I normally did hours ago.

I already restarted the computer, checked drivers, checked windows updates and nothing, it’s a simulator thing, and the new update

Now I don’t know what to do, I also updated the simulator very recently to the latest version 1.30.12.0 and moved all the addons, now I hope that I don’t get the same thing and have to wait 1 whole month to make the simulator work for me good.

I am having the same problem. The simulator is telling me that I am missing essential files and need to update, but I just did an update and all was well 2 hours ago before I did lol…

Everything I’m seeing on these forums from the last update causing people this issue a few months ago says to re-install. I really do not want to do that.

What about windows update and apps via microsoft store app?

I had this (or something similar) when I left the beta after SU11. I just had to log out and back in in the XBox app. If the sim wants to do a full reinstall make sure that it points to the right path where your folders are.

Same issue here.

Everything is updated, and I have not been able to solve it

I just reinstalled everything less than a few days ago and I don’t want to move the 660 files that I have at the moment, because I spend a whole month here waiting

Hmm so no support from MSFS when the “mandatory update” installs in a way that corrupts your sim beyond taking hours to re-install it all, huh? Unacceptable IMO…

What about marketplace 3rd-party addons - installed?

I have problems after the New Zealand update as well:
-The app freezes right after I click on ‘Ready to Fly’ when trying to take off on any airports.
-I play on a PC (Never had any problems before, 7950X, Strix 4090 OC, 64GB DDR5, 1GB Internet speed)
-I do not have any third party mods
-I’ve logged out and the in to Xbox App
-I’ve tried to start MSFS in safe mode, made no difference
-I’ve tried to select different aircraft, different airports, all the same

Any ideas would help at this point!

I don’t have any addon on the market, I have what I can from flightsim.to

The only thing that will be up to all of us and the community is to report them for not doing a good job of being able to make a simulator without so many crashes, problems and more problems, I would like that one day after each update they stop making the simulator corrupt The only thing that would be up to you would be to uninstall MSFS and install another simulator that is worth it.

We, as a community around the world, should listen to us and not ignore them, unless they send us messages saying that we are working to fix the problem, or make an announcement that they are trying to fix the problem, but no, they prefer ignore us and keep us with the same old problem.

It took a full install and deleting the appdata folder to address the hard crashes for me. :person_shrugging:

Hi there,

Ever since the new World Update for New Zealand has been relased (SU12), I have become to notice that ALL my flights have been randomly crashing to desktop mid-way through (around 3 or so hours after take-off), and the annoying “Your graphics card has encountered an error…” appears again. I thought I had fixed the issue LAST time, with SU11, by deleting the folders titled “DCE”, “Scenery Cache” and “Scenery Index”. I tried this fix again, no luck.

Here are my peripherals/controllers plugged-in currently:

2x Logitech Extreme 3D Pros
1x X55-Rhino (Throttle ONLY)
1x Saitek Radio Panel
1x Saitek Multi Panel
1x Saitek Switch Panel
Mouse and Keyboard

And some addons:

A32NX (STABLE VERSION 0.9.1)
Toolbar Pushback
SPAD.nExt with A32NX Plug-in
SimBridge Plugin
FSLTL Traffic (Base Model ONLY)
No Handle Bar Remover
Jetstar A320Neo Livery
Virgin Australia A320Neo Livery

External programs running:

SPAD.nExt with A32NX Plug-in
Volanta
MSFS Pop-out Panel Manager

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

Milo
