They are indeed. Look for invision, which I use but there are plenty of others too.

Densest Snail brought an interesting point up up re Internet speeds. Who would have thought even two years ago, that a speed like 79mb/sec could be limiting? Incidentally, it is the exact same speed I have here.

I can’t really see too many having the systems for LOD 5.0 plus in 4k and anyway if you don’t live on top of the MSFS servers you might still struggle. 79Mbps is plenty if you stick to the slider in the menu without editing UserCfg. I normally have no problems with 50Mbps @ LOD300

does LOD rely on Mbps then more than computer components?
No. First and foremost you need a powerful cpu but if the data stream to support high LODs isn’t there you will struggle to load scenery in the distance. Just remember that your data stream often has little to do with the speed that your ISP gives you as there are often just too many nodes it must pass through and any one of them could bottleneck it. Then there is the servers themselves, they breakdown or overheat regularly and there is never enough for a couple of days around update time but it’s a mammoth task to keep them all running smoothly and it really would be too much to expect better (you don’t builld a cathedral just for christmas). We could all help by switching off bing data for a few days.
One last point is that I suspect when they extended LOD 4 in SU6 they probably also capped it there. I can’t be certain as unfortunately I seldom get the chance to test on my 4k tv.

Sure you could. … Now make sure all bios, and firmware is up to date including for your SSDs, hopefully its all been done already. DO NOT let Windows decide for you.

I have gotten onto MSFS after it has downloaded and sadly been greeted with 12 fps at KMCO on medium settings. not sure what has happened there…
Me neither, start by checking bios settings, virtualization should be off. Then run Windows update and if necessary repeat until it’s bang up to date.
