They’ve been saying the same things since well before launch, so yeah, they are.
I don’t know ANY developer who would include stuff like this in their official marketing material.

No they’re just protecting their market with people playing numbers tanking.
If they were so honest they wouldn’t have released a half-made game. And it’s pure conjecture that MS forced them to release it early. We have never actually been told the truth there.
Nor made what looked like flawless promo videos.

Probably didn’t watch any of them. And they certainly don’t know how to read player numbers if they think they’re “tanking.”
It’s always funny when people believe their skewed negative perception is actually widespread or represents an imaginary majority.

They also said they read the forums and yet seemed surprised at the request to remove the ‘press any key’ that’s been talked about since day 1.

I found them to be pretty arrogant and unconcerned about issues simmers are having. Yea they admitted to rushing 2 patches out but even as I had given them praise with the stuff they have said it seems more and more like they are really just saying the bare minimum to keep up their deceitful marketing campaign.

I mean look at the ‘dev update’ that’s been posted. It just says “It’s been busy, we’ve released Japan and here’s a list of all the other comms we’ve sent out this week. Aren’t we great at comms.”
