I personally would argue with that - admittedly not pefect, but still usable and at least they were available in the sim from launch. With FS2020, many things were deliberately not included, or had reduced functionality. With the Garmin, for example, I believe they originally planned to leave it to third party developers to upgrade. Pressure from users caused the change of policy.
I believe, in one of Q&A sessions, it was inferrred that Asobo did this to help their own developers, hence the 2 PC system - it is only pressure from the users which made them consider implementing it for everyone.
You might notice a common theme here - we need to make our wishes known quite forcibly for Asobo to start taking action. Unfortunately, even with the wish list they seem to just check off the items they are already working on, rather than use it to plan their immediate actions.
Deleting layers, just put the clouds thickness to 0 is the same and move them on the top.
They have larger team and they visited most of airports previously, They are not only one modeller for the planet, also remember on others sim they had missing stuff out of the box include airport. With approx 10 modeller within 2 years it’s done, but they will likely found another way.
You will see new stuff that no one can do it from 3rd party add-ons, out of their expertise, it require major works, time consuming on code side\engine from the team to implement, outside DLC, you will be charged.
Ps: P3D done since 10 year charging 79$-199 each time with mediocre change…In the past time we had new MSFS sim each 4 year approx.
One of the reasons we developed FS Instant Approach was to quickly switch airports without using the FS menus. For example, you can jump from an airport in the USA to one in UK in under 10 seconds!
I’m sad there is misinformation about whether we have an actual pause in the sim or not. So I created a video proving we do not have a full pause in the sim.
I bet if it weren’t for the misinformation about the full pause the wishlist topic would be the next no 1 wish we had.
Could it be running offline mode internally as if it’s online? I’m sure there’s a complex reason otherwise full pause would have been implemented ages ago.
I’d rather you didn’t pause my plane as well if I am in your vicinity. All you can do is pause your own simulator, not everyone elses, due to its online component.
Apologies, I hadn’t read that post as I was going down through the thread.
I did however read the bit about it potentially being no 1 at some point. Perhaps, but there are a lot of things that need fixing that I think many would consider those more important.
Other than the argument of “is pause really pause”, for me the active pause is enough for taking screenshots, and I can hit Esc if I need a bio break, or flip on AP if available. If the weather, and time, have moved on by 5 minutes, that won’t affect me greatly in any significant way, unless landing clearances expire, and I don’t think I’ve experienced that in the sim. That would be a solid reason for it, I guess.
MMO’s can’t be paused, as other players continue to move around you, the same for online shooters, for obvious reasons, so no, not any.
The best you could hope for would be as you outlined, a completely offline pause, with AI, rather than online traffic paused, and no other player traffic.
Silly boy, they’re not looking for solutions, they just like to complain to hear themselves complaining. I swear they should change the name of this forum to www.complainaboutfs2020.com.
What do you suppose the chances are that he submitted a zen ticket for even a single item on his list?
I don’t think the OP intended to “complain to complain”, I don’t see that in his post. He is expressing wishlist items that make sense to more people than just him. And that sparked a meaningful discussion to some.
I wouldn’t make assumptions whether he submitted zendesk tickets, he might have, he might have not.
