IFR flying a bit disappointing

I see where you are coming from.

We should be able to toggle the camera shaking. On/Off

Does it work for you? For me it doesn’t, I think it does something but it doesn’t completely turn it off.

The offset is missing not just in LOWI, but everywhere else. Every LOC has a course same as the runway heading. This should be an easy task for MS to fix, they just have to import the correct navdata. But this is garbage in its current state. I submitted a zendesk ticket, and I suggest to everyone to do so.

Good catch, I didn’t try any other offset approaches so far, I will send in a ticket as well.

I noticed this KJFK. The well-known 3 degree offset localizer on the ILS22R approach is directly aligned with the runway in the sim.

This particular r/w localizer is offset for a good reason - if it had been placed directly on the centerline, they would have had to build the localizer antenna in the middle of a swamp.

Other r/w localizers are offset for terrain clearance, or to provide extra lateral spacing when two close parallel runways are conducting simultaneous ILS approaches.

I’m sure from a Asobo’s design perspective it was easier just to align every localizer with the published runway heading, and though most ILS approaches are indeed built that way, the ones that have offsets are constructed that way for a reason.
