Well I started this topic over a year ago and I can verify my original airport reported (YMML Melbourne, Australia) still performs ILS approaches like this for the 16 runway. Interesting the 27 runway ILS has never been an issue. It lines up perfectly. I hope they can fix it soon too. Oz

In my opinion ILS is core feature of every flight simulator. It should be fixed as top priority if it occurs at many airports around the World. But on the other side, I don’t understand this post only got 15 votes in a year.

My assumption is because when it comes to instrument approaches there are far more RNAV GPS based approaches than there are ILS approaches and ILS approaches are somewhat going away (at least in the US) being replaced with GLS. There are tons of airports that don’t have an ILS but do offer RNAV GPS …
