I’m on the BETA and managed to get the “frequent flyer” achievement, 9hr flight in the 787 with 3rd party livery, no CTD very minimal lag, majority of the lag was over Canadian Forrests. However turned off live weather. (Xbox series X). I think the sim for Xbox users is going in the right direction

Definitely agree with the optimism. It’s performing so much better in the beta. Given the recent stability test, it’s reasonable to predict that they will make progress with some of the memory-related issues, on top of the ongoing Direct X 12 optimisations and eventual introduction of FSR. I’m confident that the performance and stability of the sim is only going to get better.

Same. Not as extreme as you as mine is not completly un playable but I was doing a YMML-YSCB flight and halfway through the displays just turned off. Its so anoying.
Did a 15 1/2 hour flight no problems. Pretty smooth on landing actually. SU 10 Beta

Your lucky. What platform? Xbox? Xbox has SO many problems. 
Series X. I haven’t had a ton of problems in the year or so I’ve been playing tbh. No 3rd party scenery installed

but ya…like the other guy said, i m on XB Series X and really don’t have any issues w/ Flight sim. Sure after the April update it didn’t run as smooth in some locations, but overall i’m pretty happy with it. I play it for fun and relaxation…if I try to actually play it as a ‘sim’, maybe I’d experience the issues you have been experiencing ??? Not sure, but really enjoying it on XB.

How does one get to use the BETA on Xbox? or is it something you needed to be invited to?
In the Microsoft store search for “Xbox insider hub”. Once downloaded look in the “previews” section and scroll to Microsoft flight sim

Any New update for Xbox version stability ? Soon
SU10 seems to a fixed a few of them.
Oh but I do have issues, I get CTD’s, stuttering\lag and we all know about ATC and many other bugs but FS2020 is still groundbreaking software and great fun to use.

Thanks. I just did this and it has ‘NEW’ tagged to some of the landing challenges i did before. Will check those out.
I also see a spotlight Event - landing in Uganda. Are these a weekly/monthly thing? Do they pop up automatically too? Or I have to download something on xbox weekly to get this?
Loading is much faster on SU10 Beta. Things seem smoother too. I did have a CTD on the second time I tried to play it before it got to the PRESS BUTTON TO START screen. But restarted the game and it worked fine.
