Im stuck at final loading screen. I cant play the game now after this new update..:confused:

Ditto V1PERPT. I was having fun and learning and they shot it all to heck.

Have you exited msfs and restart the program.
Usually a good idea to reboot system after any install also to clear ram and temp files.

Thanks ccrbc. Iā€™ve already gone through the whole list Microsoft self-service activities of Store resetting, cache clearing, updating, virus scan and firewall shutting, time-setting, troubleshooting, file-checking, scannow, disc cleanup, etc. and rebooting after every one. This is the same crappola as during the month I spent loading the initial program in October. Whatā€™s weird is that all the updates between version 1 and today have downloaded fine.

yes i did it man, of course lolā€¦nothing works. Well lets wait another 2 weeks..

Double check windows store.I just updated mine and noticed there was xbox update that didnā€™t install at the same time.

Once checked, log out of store and xbox and log back on to both.

I think it was more of a ā€œgreat, this again! Iā€™m over it, Iā€™m going to go do anything that doesnā€™t require having to troubleshoot a purchased product every time there is an update.ā€ But I could be wrong.

And I thought it is a good idea to reinstall the sim. Now iam stuck in the screen as all of you. REALLY GREAT

Hi, sometime it happend me too. Try go to computer setting, open app and functionality. Open msfs. Then clic on repair app.

If you are using the MS Store version of MSFS you could try ā€˜repair appā€™ in advanced app settings. (Donā€™t use reset app as this could delete all the in game downloaded content-the 95gb worth of stuff! Repair app is safe, however, that doesnā€™t delete the data!
It works for me.

Is happened to me also today! I install update yesterday and after that everything works normally. I didnā€™t install anything today and when I back from work and running MSFS - sim stock on the loading bar and not going nowhere :frowning:

Here is what works for this scenario:
Remove FS2020 completely from your
system. Reinstall from scratch and it ought to help.
Some folks who had used the MS updater to get World Update 3
get this issue. Remove MS2020, reinstall.

I suggest manually removing the actual folders, too. From steamapps, ProgramData folder, temp folder. Basically, every folder needs to go bye. Do not rely on the Windows Installer removing everything correctly..

I will take a closer look at it tomorrow, itā€™s already night in Germany so have a nice left day! But iam still a little bit scared about removing files. Iam scared of removing important files like windowsā€¦

My issue was it was hanging there for a long time. Then once it finally let me in, the UI was super laggy. Seemed to all have started after World Update 3. Reinstalled last night through MS Store, seems to have fixed the issue when I tested briefly.
