Import Control Schemes

Hello! I play msfs on my desktop and laptop, switching back and forth as needed. Recently I reinstalled MSFS on my laptop and when I fired it up now, some of my control schemas won’t load. If you look at the screenshot, you can see my keyboard and mouse settings successfully loaded from the cloud (Dan’s). However it’s not loading my joystick schema. In fact it looks like it thinks it’s an Xbox controller? It’s actually a Microsoft Sidewinder FFB2 (as i named the current mapping just now). When playing on my desktop this is labeled correctly.

1. why is this say xbox controller and
2. how can I get MSFS to load my actual joystick schema like it did with the keyboard and mouse?

I would first try to trigger the laptop to reset the controls.
The control settings are in the WGS folder.
Assuming you have the PC and Laptop linked together, copy the WGS folder from the SystemAppData folder from your PC installation and paste it to the same location on your laptop, overwriting or deleting the original on the laptop.
Start the sim on the laptop, it should prompt you to select the cloud or your laptop settings.
Obviously, select the laptop.
