The T-45C update is finally available in the MSFS Store (4 days later than elsewhere as usual).
Meanwhile, after downloading the 1 GB update, the process is stuck at “decompressing” the fspatch.
I did wait for few hours to make sure. No progress, not a single byte expanded.
Then, I closed MSFS, downloaded the updated plane again. Same thing.
Finally, I decided to delete the existing T-45C folder and restarted MSFS. The expansion process did succeed. I don’t know what the underlying issue really was but, it did the trick.

Seems to be related to the sim’s content manager and not the plane. Several of us have had exactly the same issue with the Carenado PA44 update that just released. Had to completely delete the old one to get the new version to actually install. Same thing, the update just sat there on decompressing.

Very likely.
Never happened with both planes I bought from Indiafoxtecho. It just started with the latest sim update, which coincides with the latest plane update release.
Did the trick for me too. Thanks!

Me too. Thanks for the fix.
It didn’t help me. The T-45C isn’t in the game now and I can’t re-install it. I must be doing something wrong. As of now I’m getting the shaft.
At the same level where you deleted the T-45C folder, there should be a file with a .fspatch extension with indiafoxtecho in the name. Delete it.
Then, go to the Marketplace (not your profile). Locate the T-45C. It should be tagged as “OWNED”. You should be able to redownload it from there.

<drive_letter> is the disk where your content is installed.
<unique_number> is an SID like number unique to your setup.
The folder is there:
<drive_letter>:\WpSystem\ <unique_number>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore

Thanks very much for your reply. It worked like a charm. I deleted the T-45C folder again. But I couldn’t find a file with a .fspatch extention anywhere, but that didn’t make any difference.
Thanks again.

Thank you. I deleted the folder and the marketplace successfully installed the T45-C update.

Thanks this worked for me. I also submitted a ticket for the problem as it is annoying.
And it’s doing it again with the latest update.
I had no issues. Yet.
Seems the update did not address this issue.
Did Indiafoxtecho release some updates today?
There’s an update to the MB-339 that’s been decompressing for about 20 minutes now.
OK. Thanks.
It’s not visible yet in my region. Just checked.
