Ini A350,iFly737max or Maddog MD-82

Which one of these 3 has less bugs/CTD’s, more realistic systems and looks the best?

Definitely the Maddog and/or the iFly Max… However, right now at least, the iFly Max does not work in MSFS 2024, so keep that in mind. The A350 is a fine airplane and I don’t regret purchasing it, but it’s price is definitely steep for what you get (in terms of systems depth and overall realism)… Both the Maddog and iFly Max are better planes (in my opinion).

With that said, obviously the Maddog and the 737-Max are completely different planes and are nothing alike, so make sure you decide what type of plane you want before buying.

As of v1.04 the A350 looks great and works well. They have also been fast about fixing and polishing. I liked the iFLY 737 when it came out but feel the developer has been slow with fixes (they did release a LOT of fixes just this week though), the promised Service Pack 1, and 2024 compatibility. I don’t own the Maddog.

In this case, I think the decision might be less about the quality of each aircraft and more about what you like flying—legacy (MD-82), modern (A350), or somewhere in between (737Max).

I would wait all together, iniBuilds is a rip off, 737 not available in 2024. MD82 pretty expensive non RW flying plane.

Sure, would be nice if the A350 was $15-20 less but hardly a rip off. Two variants, two simulators, and a nice cabin on 2024. Looks great and with the patches flies pretty well. If you like flying Airbus and have a decent PC, you will enjoy it.

I agree with everything about this post, but especially this part:

Personally, of these three, I own the A350 and the iFly Max, both purchased within a day or two of them being released. I’ve been satisfied with both, but being primarily a Boeing fan, the Max is obviously in my personal wheelhouse and I simply enjoy flying it more. But that is not any slight against the A350 so much as it is a condemnation of my own inexperience and basic knowledge about driving 'Busses. I’m semi-sort of interested in the Maddog, having ridden as a passenger in many DC-90 and MD-80 aircraft over the years. But I already have more planes than I really have time to enjoy fully as it is, and there are more still on the way from other developers.

For what it is worth, I prefer flying the Boeing and hope it won’t be too long before the iFLY Max and PMDG 737/777 arrive in FS2024. Also, positively tickled by the upcoming 757 but trying to manage my expectations.

I’ve been lucky with only a couple of WASM crashes with the Ini A350…one of them was when landing 40 feet above the runway, so I was able to use my mad abnormal procedures skillz and get it to the gate. No idea why I don’t get them (in FS2020 only), so that’s a risk you’ll have to take. I like the plane a lot, personally. I also downloaded a mod from flightsim.to to make the roll control more steady when hand flying.

The IFly max is also very good..the only real drawback is that it barely works with 2X Sim Rate, and can’t keep LNAV track at all at 4x. If that’s not a consideration for you, then this is a great plane.

I don’t have the Maddog, but it’s tempting…I love the Just Flight Avro RJ, and am feeling the draw of old-school planes like the Maddog. Maybe someday…but there’s also the newly-updated F28 and the 146, and there’s only so much sim time in the day…[sigh]
