Yes - unfortunately this is the case, would be really nice if they could fix this!
This could be an SU5 issue, but I canât recall when it started. ![]()
It was always like this from the beginning.
So is the A340 better for doing the long haul?
KPHX-LIRF
KPHX- WSSS
I think you have the wrong airport codes ?
The A350 is definitely the modern day choice⊠faster and less fuel requiredâŠ
It doesnât even need a long flight. Change the arrival routing at any point in the flight (even before takeoff) and youâll get a WASM crash
8 hour flight yesterday in the A350. No issues except stuttering which makes everything feel a bit slow motion. Also had a several seconds long freeze on touchdown. Redid that flight in the PMDG 777-300ER today and it was so smooth and fast feeling that I had to make sure sim rate wasnât on
I have wanted to purchase the A350 for a long time, but decided to wait, to make sure MSFS 2024 was itself working well, and to learn Airbus basics on the default Inibuilds Airbuses available in MSFS first.
I keep reading here about WASM issues, and I keep seeing the bugs unaddressed in the default Inibuilds Airbuses, and have a general question:
Is Inibuilds responsive to reports of these bugs, are they capable of fixing them? I keep delaying purchaseâŠ
The A350 is unique in that it takes a very long time to load first time. I assume thatâs due to the quality of the texture work. The quality is top notch in my opinion. The cockpit is roomy and the new screens are easy to get used to. Sounds are great! I flew a short 45 minute flight this morning at sunrise. Very satisfying flight! Itâs a must for any hangar.
Iâm not sure whatâs causing issues for others. I donât use Simbrief or the autopilot. I set my autothrottle, and fly the route by hand. Itâs a toss up whether the a340 or the a350 is the best. I really enjoy the âold schoolâ a340 as well.
OK. Initial loading delay is likely WASM compiling - thatâs standard now for many aircraft, and I assume the same for the A350.
But my question is about how Inibuilds responds to bug reports - fix, or dismiss?
You can get banned from their discord if you complain too loud, letâs say it this way. (Spoiler: take it as a compliment.)
They seem active on their forum. They release a lot of fixes, so in my mind that balances out any slowness on the forum. I trust they will get to it. They are pumping out new content quite regularly, and like all developers, some things may get left behind. I guess thatâs the business model now. Why upgrade the a320v2 when everyone is flying the a350? Right? They are my favourite developer right now, so Iâm biased.
Well, the Airbuses and other aircraft in MSFS that are âFirst Partyâ aircraft, with Inibuilds as the primary âDev/Partnerâ seem to have a lot of bugs that never get fixed, or even acknowledged. This has been my primary concern about investing in an Inibuilds aircraft - and Iâm unsure if itâs because Microsoft wonât âcommissionâ the fixes because Microsoft doesnât want to pay for them, or, if Inibuilds simply doesnât want to deal with them and instead focus on their own aircraft sold directly to customers.
Either way, I keep putting off purchase because, frankly, I keep seeing people report issues that seem to not yet be addressed. Being unable to change Arrival or Approach after a long flight without a WASM crash seems like a deal breaker to me.
Upgrading and updating the in-sim A320neo is actually not fully up to them. They were contracted to make it for Microsoft and itâs owned by Microsoft. A350 is different because IniBuilds fully own that product.
Working great for me âŠ. Hardly any crashes ⊠many real time flights of 8+ hours
Only issue is the separate cabin addon .. if i do not use that it works perfectly
Thatâs because the cabin customization packs were deprecated late 2025 I believe - those will not be compatible with the A350 moving forward, according to iniBuilds.
Working great for me in VR. Havenât had a WASM crash for a while now. On the SU5 beta.
Their full payware aircraft are full of bugs and errors as well that just never get fixed.
Theyâre just like their freeware aircraft but with better EFBâs and other gimmicks to make them seem high quality, but the underlying aircraft are not high quality.
To be such big company in the flight sim world and keep putting out aircraft with No Soul or No Character is sad to me. You have been here way too long to NOT know what people Expect from you.
If the aim is for Carrer mode to be of high quality, IniBuildâs Airbuses are not the most suitable option
