Inibuilds has now changed panel state save to load in there advertising. That fixed it for me I will stop moaning now. If you wish to continue your long haul flight the next day avoid . I can acheive this with 10 minutes config on ground then use flight control replay to reposition . Release from replay pray the aircraft stays stable and does not plunge to the ground . Thank you inibuilds for building such a useful add on .
I still canât get any fuel into this bird. I enter fuel into the Block Fuel box in the EFB but as soon as I select Add to Aircraft it zeros out. Calling for fuel truck has not effect.
Trying to adjust fuel in the Task Bar has no effect. Iâm sure itâs something simple but Iâm stumped.
Any help appreciated.
It doesnât need you to create any flightplan in MSFS flight planner, and even if you create one, it canât use that plan, so either you have to use simbrief or enter the plan manually in the cdu.
Now, you atleast need to set the citypair (src and dest airport) in the mcdu INIT A page, which will allow you to align the IRSs, which you also need to do, there is an option for instant alignment in the EFB if you are in a hurry. And I believe thats pretty much it to be able to fly the plane.
Ofcourse, LNAV and possibly PROF too wonât work without a flightplan, but you can use Heading modes (hold and select) for lateral navigation and SPD(Lvl change) and VS mode for vertical guidance. Also you can set the speed window and use autothrottle to manage speed.
And if you want to use VOR navigation, then there are a few more things you can do, disable auto tune in MCDU, then tune the nav radios and course pointers manually, Also, change the flight director mode to VOR. In this mode, you should be able to use lnav mode as well which will follow VOR and course.
When starting the flight at the end of the runway is there a way to adjust the fuel load? I havenât found a way to do it. Any adjustment I make in the Task Bar fuel load snaps back to 11%.
Thanks.
Here is how you adjust fuel load sitting at end of runway:
Turn on APU and APU bleed, check APU Gen on.
Turn off both engines.
In EFB adjust fuel load as desired.
Wait until Red fueling light goes out.
Restart engines.
