Looks great! This was the most famous Canadian livery ever for the T-Bird!

Anyone else finds the autopilot of this aircraft misbehaving? It fails in lateral navigation constantly overshooting right and left.

I wish I could get some of those RCAF liveries on Xbox. They look great!

Send Ini a request, they might decide to accomodate.

This plane is why I keep FS2020 around. Finally got the Blue Angels paint, yay!

Inibuilds just released the 2024 version of the T-33 on their app. I was not charged again and all I had to do was update the community folder for MSFS 2024 and install into the new sim. Just tried it out changing my character to the fighter pilot helmet and suit. Seems to be working fine other than their default pilots arenā€™t showing. I believe this will be fixed. I now have my T-33 in both simulators.

Literally hours after I post that Iā€™m keeping 2020 around because of the T-33, Inibuilds posts a free native FS2024 update to the T-33.

Man, I wished Iā€™d posted something about world peace or the lottery. Wasted another wish!

But the planeā€™s sweet in 2024. You can really feel the improvements in the flight model ā€“ you have to be more careful at low speeds.

I wasnā€™t able to get any of Jockoā€™s excellent repaints to show up in FS24, anyone else?

I donā€™t think MSFS 2020 liveries can just be dropped into the community folder. I believe the artists would have to do some research and remaking the liveries for MSFS 2024.

Ist just tried the 2024 version, but it doesnā€™t work properly for me. The power randomly jumps from no power to full power at all and the RPM gauge makes zero sense.

EDIT: as Iā€™ve learned the FS2024 version has some added realism. If you push the throttle forward too fast the engine stalls. With slow and smooth advancement of the throttle the T-33 flies like a charm.

I can confirm this. The engine revs to 100% by itself (a) when it first lights off on start, and (b) when you move the throttle off of idle. It does reset itself back to the commanded throttle level fairly quickly (in about a second or two for me), but I think thatā€™s clearly a bug.

Otherwise, I didnā€™t notice any significant issues.

Not for me. I lost power after takeoff and couldnā€™t get it back anymore. Crash landed in a field. Sounds like a pretty significant issue to me.

OUCH. Yeah, thatā€™s a non-nominal situation for sure.

One thing I did before the flight is mess around with the fueling levels. Did you use the ā€œbaseā€ 50% default load? Maybe thereā€™s a bug with recognizing that default level, and you actually ran out of fuel very quickly because of it? Just spitballing ideas hereā€¦

Unflyable for meā€¦ no matter what I do with fuel, aircraft loses thrust and falls to the earth. 100% of the time. Start with Tip tanks, or with wing tanks or all tanks - nothing changes. RPMs go up, then down then off.
