Does anyone know if deleting the corresponding files in the “MSIXVC” folder would help solve anything? I deleted every other folder/file except here and the download just keeps hanging up in a loop.

Also, anyway to decipher the files in MSIXVC? I can kind of tell by the dates which game is which but want to be sure it’s not going to mess with any other game/app/Windows in general.

edit - didn’t break anything, didn’t fix anything either. Until I can just download this game without the installer I’m all done

I am crying loud, :cry: just installed on the same SSD the huge Star Citizen and a patch/update from DCS without a problem, smooth and easy … and with microsoft stuff, more than 30 hours dealing with their … software.

This is my nightmare and still I can pass from here.

I did, try, all the recommendations on the whole internet to no avail. Believe me. I can’t understand what it is append.

I have tried everything.

  • Reinstalled at least 6 times
  • Changed the user to remove special characters
  • RUN as admin
  • Restart PC
  • Update drivers

It is very frustrating as it always freezes at the exact same place no matter what I do… Note: When I run as admin, even if I have changed my user name from Jesús to Jesus, it still recreates a folder named Jesús.

Any new ideas or timeframe for solving this HUGE issue?

Use Internet Traffic Agent (free) to monitor your downloads from Misrosoft Server.
Its more easy to know if nothing append…

My problem…But the INPUTS file is Locked you cannot fix it if you have the xbox version

Confirming that for me insider build 20197 has resolved the installation issue.
Now hopefully I can get a refund from steam (I know, not likely)

Sorry, but false information! I prepaid for the Premium Deluxe version, uninstalled the Beta, and downloaded what I thought was my Premium Deluxe version. It wasn’t. Right now, I am in the Marketplace:MP_OC|690x388
And you can see what I own. Yet nothing I do will let me load the Premium Deluxe version. Went to Profile/Content Manager, clicked Toggle All…never got a Download prompt. I have done everything Zendesk has suggested, with no joy!

So what I want to know now is how to completely uninstall FS2020 and re-download it. I’m getting really ■■■■■■, because Zendesk doesn’t read the tickets - some bot looks for keywords and e-mails a boilerplate response.
