Brief description of the issue: When the Installation Manager (updater) screen is up, the GPU stays at full boost for some reason. That’s 350-400W depending on GPU… doing what? I have to pull all my sliders down in Afterburner/X1 just so that it doesn’t work so hard and heat the card.
Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered: none necessary, just does it. Not sure why FS wants 500+ FPS at an update screen.
PC specs and/or peripheral set up of relevant: AMD 3900X, 3080 FTW3 Hybrid, 4k Monitor @ 60hz
Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue: May have been around for a while. But SU7 is what i’m on right now, 1.21.13.0, and it’s updating to …the same thing? Wait, What?
