I did not experience this problem with 1.2.5. In 1.3 you can still hear the engine and the prop is spinning after shutdown. ![]()
V1.3 works great, good job! Now I can control all switches with my Saitek panel. FPS have been improved too (and if I hide the config tab in the cockpit I gain a few frames). Thanks for the update!
Ok got it installed â huge improvement in my FPS, especially while keeping the tablet stowed (which it seems to be by default now). Great update, thanks! ![]()
Ignore it, itâs a bug with wind conditions moving the prop even with the engine shut-down. You should see the RPM still around 0.
Oh, youâre right. I tried it with other weather settings and everything worked as it should. Thanks.
Is the version on discount sale right now at ORBX the current updated one? And is the price there better or worse than buying from you at the rate for past FSX Customers of the Jabiru?
The Orbx Version is 1.3 which is the most recent one. Donât know about the price difference but I can only recommend the Jabiru. ![]()
Got my 1.3 update on Orbx last night⊠Man, the Tropical North trip is MASSIVE!!! I canât wait to fly it! Thank you so much for the update!
Yeah, you can tell I ran out of steam making it lol⊠Should see the âGreat Outback Pub Crawlâ coming in early 2021. ![]()
You could use the 25% coupon from buying the Jabiru previously from IRIS, at the IRIS Store which also has 30% off⊠go ahead, make me poor. ![]()
I would rather see you rich enough to bring your Tutor to msfs.
Downloaded and working well. I do not see the extra weather presets mentioned elsewhere in my weather choices. Would that be because I installed my game on a different drive to standard ?
Overall a very good update, well done.
Hey all, I recently bought the Jabiru and loving it!
I wrote down these notes, maybe somebody can comment
- Default head position seems to be centered in between the two seats, the lovely lady sitting next to me does not approve it. Also seems a bit too high. Is there a way to tweak it?
- Could the checklist be automated? This is to avoid too many mouse clicks
- When flying in the evening with low light, the tablet seems disturbingly bright. How to turn that off? There is a blue arrowed button next to it but does not seem to do anything.
TIA
Found a way to modify the default position in the cameras.cfg to my likings, eyepoint values in line 6
Needs to be done for both the J160 and J170
Itâs on the way.. ![]()
The weather presets are combined with the BushTrips, you canât access them seperately. If you want all the presets, you need to purchase WPP from SoFly.
Hmm,
-
Default position should be the normal cockpit position, what youâre seeing looks like the IFR view which is repurposed for a ceiling mounted GoPro view. Use the Hat forward button if you have it to go to the Pilot view.
-
Not at this stage, if you want to quickly start the aircraft, try CTRL+E
-
Stow the tablet by clicking on the tablet frame. Thatâll turn if off.
Hey I just wanted to say I really appreciate how involved you are with the community and listening to feedback and releasing updates etc. This is very valuable. I love what you guys do! Please do more products for MSFS! And thank you for selling via Orbx! I am starting to prefer that platform over Marketplace, simply because MP seems to take forever for updates and releases.
Thanks, I realised the default camera position is different for each user depending what settings are chosen. I had it setup like in the screenie below and seemed to work well for the default planes.
All sorted now
