This video shows the roll rate: The Art of What's Possible | Pilatus PC-21 Aerobatics l IRIS Simulations (MSFS) - YouTube

it’s nothing like that - it’s almost zero roll

Can confirm the controls issue. Purchased and elevator/aileron and rudder do not work. Tested with other planes and they are working and assigned just fine.

I hope he fixes it soon but I really can’t help thinking this shouldn’t have been released in this state. So many issues its unreal. No other plane has launched and not been able to even take off. Such a shame because I was looking forward to this one!

I was about to buy this one, but thought to check the forum first, glad I did, will hold off a bit now. I did see this youtube which made it look incredibly good

Anyone know what the in sim marketplace version is like?

Same issue here, I sent a video to the developer through their Discord. Glad to hear it’s not just me.

I don’t own this yet, but I have watched videos from three of my favorite You Tubers and none of them had any of these problems.

I believe the trashware C90 was in that state upon release actually

“trashware”, lol
I would definitely not be buying this until the developer can show a track record of making this plane correct

Their flight controls work and they can roll the plane fast. So why are so many people having problems? One of them did say something about making sure the co-pilot is removed so you don’t have to flip any switches from the rear cockpit. Don’t know if that makes any difference for the issues people are having.

Don’t want to detract from the frustration others may be experiencing, but just wanted to note that I just had a maiden flight with no controls issues - pitch, roll, yaw work as expected with my existing profiles. I did set both pilot and co-pilot weights to zero, though, as when I saved a custom VFR pilot view, it did the ‘showing the pilot’s eyeballs’ thing and I couldn’t find any way to revert it other than removing the pilot.

Same here, did a few flights and didn’t have any control issues and I was throwing it around at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I haven’t tried customizing any views yet but I do find it baffling they didn’t bother to offer a preset for the rear seat, at least I couldn’t find one. I find it to be a really decent product. My only issue is the cockpit textures are really low quality.

I just received a cfg file fix from the developer. It fixed my roll issue, and it may fixed the other issues on here
you might be seeing an update soon.

That CFG that he put in the discord seemed to solve my controls issue. Thing is actually pretty decent for what is like 23usd. Lots of fun. Sure there are small things here and there
but it is a fun little plane. Performs well in vr too (3080 fe Reverb g2)

Apparently there will be an update released in the next hour by Iris

Are you able to input a full flight plan into this thing, using published waypoints and navaids?

Can you edit your plan in-flight?

Does it have a VOR radio?

Thanks

Paid -but no download

I fly it in VR, its excellent, especially the rear cockpit if you fly rear cockpit remember to switch control to the rear cockpit from the right MFD. I don’t have any issues with the roll and pitch being reported by others

I can honestly say I am not having any of the issues reported on here. Controls work, roll rate good and regards the cockpit flying in the rear seat in VR it looks fantastic and that’s flying it out of the box bought it a few hours after release, yes some small issues but not enough to say its effecting the pleasure I am getting from flying it
