I have a weakness for the F-5/T-38. Every time I look at these aircraft I cannot believe something so modern looking was developed in the 1950s.
Anyhow, does anyone know if there is a quality version of one/both of these coming to MSFS?

Blackbird had stated in a live stream a couple years ago that they were potentially working on a T-38. I’m not sure if they are still working on that project, but I hope so. My father was a flight instruments trainer when he was in the Air Force, and trained Vietnam era pilots on the T-38. He and I are both impatiently awaiting a good T-38 for MSFS.
I’m also looking forward to both a higher fidelity T-38 and the SC Designs F-5E. My ealiest memories are from seeing the Thunderbirds F-4E and then seeing the “new” economical T-38 teams growing up. I also look forward to aircraft (F-5E) that were used by multiple countries, so I can fly in indigenous liveries for the region I’m flying over.
There’s a T5 out for pc, but I think it’s getting mixed reviews at best.
I’m waiting for the dc/sc designs release
Any update on the availability of the T38 for MSFS??
There’s this freeware based on the old Milviz (Now Blackbird) FSX T-38A converted to work in MSFS 2020 and supposedly it worked pretty great as far as free FSX based aircraft go?! And apparently this has Blackbird’s permission and blessing. BUT apparantly the cockpit/aircraft are invisible in in cockpit views in 2024?
I would REALLY love to have a really good T-38 in 2024! I really doubt Milviz/Blackbird will ever make a T-38 for 2024, they make what they personally want to and only on whatever timeline they want to, that’s their perogative I suppose, can’t blame them. But they seem to have no interest in making a new native 2020/2024 T-38.
They contracted with the Air Force for use of their FSX T-38C and agreed to pull that off the market, unfortunately, Who can argue with DOD layers I suppose? But they left their T-38A available. But for whatever reasons, seems they lost any interest in the T-38 in recent years.
