Tried some of the built-in airliners, as well as the latest FBW A320 dev build, and none of the instrument screens seem to pop out. I don’t get the magnifying glass icon when holding the right Alt key. Is this a known limitation in '24?

Which aircraft are you having an issue with ?
I have tried many airliners (under SU2) and the only one where undocking does not work is the A330, known issue: Inibuilds A330 series screens don't pop out
There is also a report for the 747: B747 Display pop outs, but trying the 747-8 under SU2, pop-out works for me.
Fun fact, you can actually pop out the screens of another aircraft, leave them open, then spawn into the iniBuilds A330 and those same windows will now have the A330 screens.
It works best if the first aircraft is one with many screens, as it’s not consistent which A330 screen appears in which previous-plane’s screen, so the more you have the better the odds are the ones you want from the A330 will be represented.
To clarify, when you say “instrument screen” do you mean the glass itself, or actual instruments?
No issues popping out screens (glass).
Pop Out Panel Manager makes it much easier though.
