If you are going to use Simbrief, then you need at least the basic plan so that SB uses the latest AIRAC data. If you are flying exclusively in the USA, there is apparently no difference from NG data and Asobo data in-game. Currently there is a game problem causing NG to cause some erratic behavior. Not NG’s fault.
I only fly GA in the USA now so I don’t need it anymore. It is a good product though.
