The serial number inside Fenix A320 MCDU tells. That’s why I said the version is somewhere around 2021.
We have real world airline customer who is using Prosim as their entry level simulator. That is why I am concern about prosim version, because it improves a lot through out these years, not only systems (yep, a remodeled exterior model has been added). For more advanced training, they choose the Airbus data package though.
Lads, don’t get me wrong. I am happy with the current and future states of the mod. I’m not complaining Fenix not update Prosim version, it will just be better if Aamir does so. Although it seems to be impossible as Fenix has to pay again to renew their license.
Not if you have an Xbox ![]()

Welcome to the ‘Bus Club’.
Plenty of liveries in the Fenix livery app btw. Have fun!
Downloading from external website wont cause issue? Just wanna clarify
No issue by itself.
However, one thing to consider is that most third party liveries on sites like flightsim.to will be 8K resolution. The liveries in the Fenix app give you a choice between 4K and 8K.
That can make a big difference to performance if you’re using an 8 GB VRAM GPU or if, like me, a 12 GB VRAM GPU, but you cram in lots of AI traffic at a complex airport scenery.
its just that im worried about the compatibility with it in msfs 2024 i dont want to pay 50 pound now to use it for a few months
There’s no doubt that if any fixes are needed for MSFS 2024 then Fenix will provide them.
But not high GPU usage? =P
Hey all. I dunno if anyones still looking at this thread, but before i spring for the feniz whats everyones take on my pc? I wamt to make sure before i spemd the money. If have 32 gb of memory as well.
I’ve had 2 issues with Fenix Airbus. The first is the purchase. I looked over the A319, 20 and 21 package at the Fenix site and thought the price was reasonable. Fenix one of the providers that do not calculate the conversion rate from Euros to dollars which is important if you don’t live where Euros are used, so I checked the rate and £ 89.98 = $102 and change. I purchased the software 3 days later and didn’t check the rate which had gone up substantially with the cost ending up at over $120.00. I could’ve avoided this by checking the rate the day of purchase and then waiting till it dropped which it did. I didn’t think it would vary that much. Wrong! The other issue is the Fenix AB has been hard for me to learn as there’s little documentation provided. I’ve sifted through Youtube videos which can run over an hour hoping they’re accurate. All this said, yes, I’d recommend the software as the planes fly very well, and I can see that countless hours of hard work went into it. Is it PMDG level? IMO, no. I’ve purchased many of PMDG’s planes since they began in 1998 and find them second to none.
I should note that I reached out to Fenix and they got back to me in about 24 hours, albeit to say yes, the exchange rate is the customer’s responsibility. I had also asked about documentation which he did not address. If you’re going to purchase, just remember to check the exchange rate on the day you’re purchasing, and know there isn’t much documentation provided.
Hi, welcome to the community.
Fenix is superior to PMDG.
Its modelling & textures are far superior including all of its features inside the cabin such as working circuit breakers etc.
It has full fly by wire functionality and the external program that is used uses Prosim (which is used for professional training and type rating).
The engine sounds are from real engines.
Having said that FBW are absolutely outstanding for something that is free and I am currently enjoying the PMDG 777 more than the Fenix. PMDG also tend to have better frame rates.
Personally I would buy any Fenix or PMDG product without checking any reviews and irrespective of any other aircraft I may currently own.
PMDG are best ![]()
You mean documentation like the user guide in the EFB?
Or the hundreds of pages of full detailed QRH manual also in the EFB?
I’ve yet to see a plane with more documentation!
The Fenix is the best in sim and at a bargain price, it might take a while to appreciate it but scratch below the surface and it’s an amazing product.
There are many real and sim pilots who have youtube tutorials for the A320, making it easy to learn. I would recommend A330driver’s A320 series as well explained, detailed, and quite realistic.
