considering getting one of these units from CP flight…
can see from their website there are a few different versions of the unit that are based off the 737 (including a cheaper EL and a Pro version) - just wondering why you chose the Max version over the others?(is the functionality better for the pdmd in msfs?)

I’ve got the Coreflighttech.com MCP and EFIS. They have the white backlight or amber ones. It works great, you can choose for Mobiflight or Spad.Net, whatever you prefer, both work great. They also have an outlet in the EU (which avoids import duties and VAT).
You can probably pick up a used GF MCP Pro cheaply since the company has gone dead. You can get partial support by using the GIT for MSFS from Pollypot Software. But I had a problem with that because it changed variables in the sim MCP but the LEDs and displays on the GF unit did not function. I searched high and low for a solution and finally found this:
