Is this why MSFS is fantastic for releasing wonderful new stuff but a tad slow at fixing bugs?

That’s one of my pet peeves with the sim. Not game breaking by any means, and when you’re aware of it, it’s easy to work around. And once it happens, you’re boned and have to restart the sim to reset it. But despite being begnin, it’s a bug that’s been around for a long time. Perhaps since launch. There were threads on it that died a slow death without being acknowledged.

This specific bug was a regression introduced with SU12 a few months ago. There is a thread about it here, and it was acknowledged by the team and tagged with bug-logged.
