You’re comparing MSFS (who’s lighting is modeled after real life environment colors) to a video made by a consumer camera in a dark night environment.
You’re comparing apples to peanuts, and coming to a very wrong conclusion.

I don’t know really how accurate MSFS is compared to real life.
But I do know something for sure. Your are expectations are completely deviated from what you can expect with today computer hardware. And please, let me know about any other game/real time rendering software able depict the whole world at least as MSFS can.
Its funny that he / she is complaining about lighting… Ok so to please you MSFS devs implement ray-tracing, Then you will just complain that the sim is poorly optimized because it runs like ■■■■ on your PC. There is a lot that goes into a SIMULATOR where there is an infinite amount of variables that the sim has to render. Unlike the UE5 Demo which as all pre-codded graphic renders.
I have been on using this sim from A group 1 and at that point I abandoned my heavily modded XP11 because of the insane jump in immersion from a stock sim FS2020 presented and I saw such great potential for what further mods / add-on’s will bring to it. - If you are unhappy cancel your 4.99 subscription and come back when the sim is at a more matured state. It will save us from banging our heads on the wall from reading such nonsense.
Im gonna be honest.. I thought the top one was the simulator! Oh wait, it is! Thats how realistic this simulator is, takes awhile to figure out which one is real in some scenarios.

I mean… You can always come up with a competitor. Maybe ask Google if they will provide the data? It would at least give you a bit of a head start

Agreed with a lot of people said. This game is almost life like. If you want it to be exactly like real life, then go fly in real life. Seriously lol

But it runs an an average computer quite well! Would it be better for you to have EXACTLY real life graphics with a NASA mainframe as minimum system requirement?
More seriously, I think the game looks amazing - especially considering that you have the whole planet with all cities, roads and airports for your playground. And it looks good even on medium category PCs.

Your REAL visual is overloaded with black. It’s obvious. It was when you saved the visual that it became overloaded with black. So you absolutely cannot compare the 2. Moreover, if you have traveled in real life, it is very obvious. No, we can blame a lot of bug with FS2020, but it is wrong.
