Your comment doesn’t make sense. Europe is an entire continent made up of different subregions and countries. Italy and Greece, for example, have nothing to do with Norway or Belgium. So I don’t get what you’re meaning with “give someone else a chance” when we actually didn’t get one.
That said I would be more than happy to have an african or southeast asian update, but it just isn’t coming because they don’t have (and can’t get) the data, so…
I’m all for it. Italy is a beautiful and diverse country for flying.
Since it’s quite a bit smaller than most of the other regions for World Updates, and since it already has some nice photogrammetry cities, I would suggest to include the Balkans and Malta in the same update. Flying along the Croatian coast from Rovinj past Pula, Senj, Split to Dubrovnik would be much better with some great landmarks. And the interior could profit from better DEM.

All I said was Europe just had some sections completed in the last 3 updates so why not let some other continents have a update or 2.

Yes, of course he is originally from Myra. He is also the HOLY PATRON of Russia, for that matter. But he became what he became while living in BARI, and for that is known worldwide as SAN NICOLA DI BARI (Saint Nicolas of Bari). He is buried in Bari´s Cathedral since 1087 AC.
And then the Marketing made the rest, transforming him in SANTA CLAUS, living in the North Pole with Rudolph and other reindeers
I know it‘s off topic but St. Nicholas from Myra never lived in Bari. His (alleged) remains were stolen from Myra by Italian sailors or merchants and brought to Bari many centuries after his death. Some of these relics are still enshrined in the Basilica of St. Nicholas in Bari. This may have boosted his popularity in Western Europe, but he never lived there. At least that‘s what Britannica says.
And do not forget Sardinia island, with most beautiful beaches and seas in the world. An handmade LIEE airport and the main city (Cagliari) with photogrammetry would be stunning and beautiful to see
Voted. Italy needs some attention. One of the first things I tried to check out when I got MSFS GOTY was the tower in Pisa and was really disappointed… and that’s just one famous landmark.
There are some add-ons out there to enhance Italy but most aren’t available in the Marketplace so those of us on XBox are out of luck.
It’s awesome MS and Asobo give us free world updates that enhance the experience and I’m thankful for them. I hope some of the Italian landmarks can be included in future WUs.
My Genoa Limj and Palermo are very useful for hard windy landing …. A good place for landing challenge ….

So…IBERIA world update is coming out in 2 days but still not Italy?
I am beginning to suspect that the developers have some sort of bias against the BEL PAESE.
