January 16, 2025 Development Update Blog Discussion

I was the first one to tell people to be patient for the 1st communication of the year but this is massively overwhelming. We don’t ask for a big patch today but a better communication. Patch notes would have suffice. The wishlist, I honestly dont care with 90% of what I’m seeing there.

BTW inibuilds aircraft still freeze the game 100% here when quitting a flight (a400m, beluga, a330)

Also read the room, most players are disappointed with career mode at the moment and there isn’t any word about it. And yet we talk about the PC-12 pressurisation or non-functioning EFB in VR…

On top of that , they rushed this thing during the holidays just for the money plain and simple during the worse time for a project half baked and knowingly published this half baked has lost all credibility with Asobo and with Microsoft. Won’t invest in a single cent until there is proper communication, fixes and I’m talking major fixes and I get what I paid for which is a fully functional sim or game or whatever they want to name it . Bad business for all . They work for us the customer .

The issue for PMDG is fixed with SU1, is cofirmed by Asobo SDK and also by PMDG
From PMDG RSR

‘’ We have had quite a bit of back-and-forth with Asobo on this topic during the week and we have been advised that a fix has been implemented and that we should get it in a future update to the platform and SDK. We do not have a date for said fix, but given that the next two workweeks are bifurcated by two holidays that are popular in the west, I suspect we will not see the platform updated with our fix until sometime after 06JAN24- and most likely around 14JAN25 if my understanding of the release patterns is approximately accurate.‘’

SDK Team, say this issue is implemented with SU1, i trust more SDK Team and PMDG then you

Trust whoever you want – I’ll still be here when it’s 3 weeks from now and no PMDG.

I just cannot believe there is zero word about a free puppy or kitten.

It’s a travesty.

They work for shareholders, not the customer, unfortunately!

I trust more Inibuild, MSFS SDK team and PMDG then you

And who pays the shareholders? Our revenue does . End of story.

If that was the end of the story we wouldn’t be where we are now. Microsoft must have been quite happy with the upfront revenue to decide to push for release.

They continue this way there won’t be any revenue and sadly all the third party developers are also losing out on the income . It’s a lose lose situation for all sadly .

It only happens when importing flight plan from Simbrief, at least on PC. I guess Asobo has never used Simbrief so they cannot reproduce it.

Or they have no idea how to fix it and pretend everything is fine.

I’ve got 2 kittens already thank you! Enough is enough!

Really Asobo, can you shift all of your resources to finding and fixing bugs???

Who cares about new scenery (aka WUs) etc or freebies. The customers “want” a functioning sim.

We don’t need another live Dev update where the panel looks uncomfortable trying put a positive outlook on this mess. It is really simple…fix the sim and the servers. Make that the prioriy…

i guess no need to wait for the heavy cargo missions on career mode if u can’t even fix bugs that fast

Any the root for this issue is fixe with SU1,

There’s no way there is more than 5 people working in this company.

Also, fix the things I want to be fixed first!

edit: that’s a lot of investigating. Maybe they need to hire a investigator to get things moving?

hey i would take a puppy

also the bug that’s keeping me from being able to use 2024 (vram) is slated for su2 so i’m looking at 6 months easy with no 2024 for me

Wait first version of SU1 Beta, have alot of ‘‘Issue’’ is relate with many airplane is not activate like All Inibuild Plane …

That must be one beast of a bug with no easy fix in sight to be pushed out to the 2nd SU!

There have been bugs on that list since day one, and they still aren’t fixed, so I doubt they’ll add anything new to career anytime soon.
