Thank you. Jetcard looks very cool. I’d like to build my own little charter or cargo flights using GA aircraft, my own plans, and fly them cleanly using IFR. Still recommend?
Tough say if you’re still the Target Audience. This is a full OFP Model, with Dispatch, FBO, Broker, itinerary, pax list, and a Live Weather route. At a tactical level, you show up prepared fly the client as a professional biz jet/turboprop pilot. I daresay the proper flight planning is at least a 45 minute task alone, working your way across the charter’s various tabs. All before you even get to engine start.
There’s a higher level meta game where you can run your own company and fleet.
It’s what Career could have been, if it was nurtured properly.
I’m totally down for a full OFP Model. I’ve spent many hours in Simbrief. Do plans integrate as well into the sim as they do from Simbrief?
They do indeed.
Honestly, I like the Meta Game as an individual pilot. There are hundreds of charters based on real world routes, and reasons to do so. Corporate exec team travel, well heeled folks going to a major sporting or entertainment event, medevacs.
Heck I had to learn the filters in a hurry to get past all the charters related to the World Cup. It’s really great.

Yeah I recently got this product and I recommend, that kind of private jet “flying with an objective” is pretty cool imho, it could get a bit more elaborated I guess but maybe in the future ?
I agree that it’s a great program. Unfortunately, the developer did announce that other than small maintenance updates, he does not plan to further develop Jetcard. He did not expect it to get as popular as it did, and never planned a lengthy roadmap for longterm development.
I for one appreciate the up-front transparency and honesty. For the price of the product, I feel like it accomplishes what it sets out to do.
Yeah for the price it does what it does, but so much potential still. The UI is wonderful and the briefing, mobile phone and ground ops very role playing style.
Just picked JetCard up earlier in the week. Since the time of this post in August, the developer has done plenty of recent updates, including one at the beginning of October. Having done four 1-1.5 hour flights and spent another 2-3 hours going through the application’s ins and outs, I cannot emphasize enough how great of a value this is as an alternative to the native career mode.
I’ve found that the immersion is spectacular, the variety of the missions is both extensive in scope (aircraft, flight length, airports/regions, backstory/briefing) but also more focused on the part of career mode I really cared about, which is the private charter business. I love that with JC, as a freelancer starting out, I can use any of the planes I already have in the library without having to ‘grind’ through ownership of a single model until I can afford something else, as long as it meets the minimum mission spec.
As for the realism of the planning process, my wife works for a family office and does a lot of the private charter coordination through FlexJets. When I showed her the interface for JC and walked her through the steps to get to the point of flying, she said “so pretty much this is you just cosplaying my job?” which is funny but also confirmed for me that JC nails it from the operational side of charter planning.
Integrating it with my gameplay has made my experience with MSFS24 much more enjoyable overall, and I’d recommend anyone try it out because in less than 10 hours using it, I feel I’ve already easily gotten my money’s worth and I’m just getting started.
The developer is also working on a similar program to Jet Card called Line Pilot and Loadmaster. Line pilot will be more airline based as well as scheduled Cargo ops (think FedEx and UPS). Loadmaster is looking more like Jet Card but for cargo. Non regularly scheduled Cargo ops. So hopefully soon you could pick which kind of flying you’d like to do and there will be a solution for that
