I purchased the PA-38 through the Marketplace. Hearing about the new patch reminded me how much I loved flying it, though it’s been out of the rotation for awhile. However, I tried to load it in free flight yesterday and it just hangs. No issues with any other airplane, Anyone else experiencing this?

I’m assuming the Marketplace one is not the 2024 release yet. I tried running the previous one in 2024 (by just copying the install folder as I have it direct from JF) and the same thing happened. Just hangs on the overhead clouds loading phase.
You need to wait for it to appear on the Marketplace 
Or, just buy it again from Just Flight. It’s on sale at the moment.

I used to be on Xbox so bought lots of add ons from the MP.
Since moving to PC I’ve transferred all my JF stuff to the contrail app. I now get the timely updates when they arrive and have not needed to purchase twice.
Yes, I haven’t been able to spawn in the Tomahawk since the release of SU1.
The 2024 version should be on the Marketplace in a couple of weeks (per JF Martyn a few posts up)

It will be transported by horse carriage and then assembled piece by piece at the Marketplace facilties, you see.

It seems JF’s other planes took about two weeks to make it to 2024. Microsoft have now dropped one of their testing phases, so in theory it should be a little faster? Please? Wishful thinking, I know.

Ha ha…yes. Years from now when we’re old fogeys we will tell the tales of when we were young whippersnappers and we had to walk 10 miles through the snow to get to town…oh wait…we had to wait a few weeks for stuff to show in the Marketplace…
The young people will laugh that we had to deal with such things.

So, it seems the Marketplace 2020 version is now updated, in both FS20 and FS24. In FS24 I can now spawn the Tomahawk for the first time since SU1! Ironically, though, the latest SU3 beta release makes the sim CTD, when you hop into the cockpit of certain 2020 planes. One of those planes is, of course, the Tomahawk.

This has been happening to me also. A few others have reported it too. With some 2020 planes it’s random and with others it happens all the time.

The 2020 version of the Tomahawk is now actually flyable in SU3 beta, version 1.5.10.0! It’s been months since that was possible.
Now, watch the 2024 version being released on he marketplace tomorrow. 
Is the fuel mixture functional for xbox 2020 yet? Rich or lean has no effect on temps or engine powers at any altitudes or baro
So, almost four weeks it took for the 2024 version Tomahawk to arrive, but it’s finally here. The updated 2020 version took “only” two weeks to arrive in 2024 (and 2020).

Switching on AP’s Master on the tablet locks vertical speed. But if I switch on Alt hold and then switch it off I can adjust vertical speed manualy.
It would be nice if switching on Master would not lock vertical speed as I cannot change it anyway.
Or am I doing something wrong?
I have never actually used the autopilot on the Tomahawk, and I’m not sure if I understand you correctly. What is it you want to do? Can’t you adjust the trim, to change the vertical speed? Or will it only do level flight?
