I’ve been a JF supporter for a long time. I have most of their products so it would be a shame if JF were not going to (somehow) offer the RJ discount because I bought 146 from Simmarket and not their web site. I know it may not be easy but I don’t think it’s impossible

Today’s the release day and I am still not seeing any discount code in my 146 order entry page in just flight store. Is this normal or should I contact support?
Few quick things in response to various posts this morning:
RJ Professional isn’t released yet but it will be within the next few hours. Something like 11.30am UK time is the aim.
The link from the banner on our home page was pointing at the wrong page, to the 146 Pro page and not the RJ Pro page. Our fault that, it’s changed now and takes you to the RJ Pro page as intended.
Discount codes - these will apply for all owners but you must buy from the site where you purchased the 146 Pro. We have no mechanic in place to offer discounts to those who purchased elsewhere. Sorry but that’s the way it works and has done for all previous releases where a discount has been offered.
There is an RJ Professional/146 Professional bundle going on sale at the same time that the RJ Professional releases for anyone who doesn’t own the 146 Pro and fancies picking up them both and benefitting from the discounted offer. Well, I’m anxiously twiddling my thumbs in anticipation 
Read through the excellent manual yesterday, which everyone really should do before they fly the RJ. So many neat features in it.
The 146 is one of my most flown aircraft in MSFS, and the RJ is a great addition to it. I’m sure the RJ will be a hit with people who enjoy quirky aircraft, but don’t want quite as much of a workload as single-piloting the 146 involves.
And as much as I love my analog 146… I’m definitely looking forward to an autopilot that’s just a tad more user friendly

The RJ discount code for 146 Pro owners has just appeared in my 146 order, the sale should open shortly
Supposedly 11:30 UK time, which will be 6:30am for me in EST, 30 minutes from now. Which is perfect because I’m on my way home from work right now.

The Marketplace does not support discounts for things like this, because it doesnt even know what you bought. It only knows you bought a certain amount of credits, thats why you dont even get a receiopt.
So i wouldnt count on that…

How does it work for peoples who bough the 146 on Marketplace. Will they get a Discount too for the RJ?
Afaik, Marketplace isnt able usually to apply discounts like this. Is this correct?
Just bought, the coupon code worked, hopefully purchased the correct version.

They have informed us that they now have a system in place to offer this. When the RJ goes on sale there then you’ll also see a bundle deal. If you choose that it will detect if you have bought the 146 already and then apply the discount. That’s what they have said to us so all should be good when the time arrives.

It’s possible now. I was for example able to get an Orbx EGLC v2 upgrade there. The system detected I own EGLC v1.

To confirm, if you’ve not already aware, the RJ Professional is now available to buy from Just Flight (PC version only). Marketplace and third party stores to follow.
The bundle deal is also now available from our website if there’s anyone new to the party and would like to buy both now at the discounted price.

kinda, but not really. that was a workaround, but the devs took it off later as it didnt work as intended. Right now, the marketplace does not support discounts for previous bought products or “V2 updates”. Same reason as MK Studios can not offer a discount on LPPT v2 on the marketplace.
But as stated above, MS now has a system for that in place that will come soon.
