Bravo, good job!
I got back into the beta recently and had a go in some American cities, London, Paris, etc. Apart from minor draw distance issues with the photogrammetry at height, everything looked sharp, pristine, and nearly flawless.
I was very amazed, to be honest, and reminded me how GOOD the game looked and played in the previous SUs, particularly SU13 I think, which was the height.
All in all, seeing clear and sharp textures on the ground and graphics/scenery stretching out to almost as far as the eye can see on the horizon.
Mind you, this is on an under 100mb fiber connection with the default 8 gb rolling cache size and all WUs + CUs installed.
However, I did notice that when I got into a third party jet such as the SC F-16 and the DC F-14, things started to fall apart a bit - I started getting stutters and graphics seemed blurry, slow to load, and limited draw distances.
I also, however, flew another one of my third party planes, the IFE F-35 and that got rid of the stutters and graphical issues, so it may potentially be a dev-related thing.
Anyhow, the game is looking and performing stunningly on Series X - I’ve even forgotten MSFS '24 for now because that is nowhere as good as where MSFS '20 is right now.
Please Team Asobo, no more regressions! Just work on improving the game from here and we’ll always be around to appreciate it, thank you for it, and shout out words of appreciation and encouragement from time to time.
THANK YOU - happy flying everybody!
