I would love to purchase this but every time I select buy and download it’s just greys out and says it failed…any insight?

are you still logged into the microsoft store app i have saw elsewhere people had to log in to the store after starting the sim.

Atlanta is supposed to be a free update when they update US airports.

But gentlemen, hundreds if not thousands of reports say the community folder is a mess per patching. I now have one thing in it. IFR Training. But I will move it out once I am done with the training. Otherwise going to wait. My Choice. And ATL will be in the an upcoming update, why should I pay for something I will get for Free, and Asobo"s will be good enough. Airports are not sight seeing locations for me, they are a place to start and end my flights. If I want to sightsee, I will fly around the Statue of Liberty or the Grand Canyon, or Mt. Rushmore. And currently, so busy trying to stay alive in the sim, because it’s got more holes in it than swiss cheese, aint got time to sightsee.

The community folder is very different. Most of the issues there have not been caused by patching, but by conflicts with improperly named files due to the freeware developers not having any support trying to figure this out. The only patch issue that I’m aware of that affected the community folder was that the last patch broke all of the custom liveries. That was a big issue and it took a few days to get sorted out.

I own a large number of payware airports and have had no issues with any of the patches. Nor am I aware of anyone reporting problems of that nature. That said, it is true that the last patch broke payware aircraft so I can certainly understand those who argue for caution. But I did want to set the record straight that at least to this point, it doesn’t seem like the patches are affecting payware scenery.

I emailed ImagineSim last night on the floating busses issue and I did want to note that I had a response waiting for me this morning. They said that they will be regularly updating this scenery and that they already had fixed this issue in an update scheduled to be sent to the Marketplace this week. Whether that means that the update will actually be available this week is unclear, but at least it is in the pipeline. I was very impressed with their responsiveness. Good customer service is always a good sign…

Marketplace purchases are stored in the “official” folder not the community folder, which is why I was able to determine that you had never purchased something from Marketplace, because you don’t even know where it goes.

To be added to the marketplace it has to go through a verification process, one that is not required if the third party developer releases it to an outside vendor or their own website.

So while the community folder might be a “mess”, it has no impact on how marketplace purchases are sold or stored.

Opus - Yep you got it, and won’t buy anything either. 80% of the released places won’t fly into, and would rather fly big planes to the little ones so far released. So most if not all of the marketplace is nothing I am interested in.
And not going to debate the pluses and minuses of the MP, and addons breaking this sim. A strong wind breaks this sim currently, only give it 40% usability and not one, not ONE plane is bug free, lots of workarounds to get it to fly almost well enough to not kill myself if in real life. If this sim was an OS released by MS, they would be laughed out of the business. Not going to respond to this thread any more.

ILS worked fine until I bought this scenery, now no runways have working ILS, can someone help me?
