Meigs Field was destroyed IRL a couple of decades ago and converted to a nature preserve and park. The MSFS-2020 49th Anniversary Edition “restored” Meigs Field over the nature preseve. There is a problem with the port of the 40th Anniversary Editon to MSFS-2024 where the ground level is too low allowing water to flood the runway. When the Marketplace becomes available, you should be able to remove Meigs Field and restore it to its natural preserve and park. Otherwise, continue to use MSFS-2020 if you want a dry runway.

This is the water mask for the pond that currently exists in that real-world location (that was turned into a park/nature preserve decades ago). It’s been reported a bunch.
