I am well-aware of the weird thing they have there. They also have separate forums for the different sims and once in a while major supporters of one sim like to jump into the forum for another sim to make declarations about the superiority of their preferred platform. And sometimes that person happens to be a forum moderator! It’s a great place! 
For something that has a potential to be a uniting presence that attempts to find common ground among all of us who are into flight simulation, it instead acts as a divisive cesspool of negativity and intolerance for each other.
