I’ll do the update tomorrow & let you know, if in my case, the challenges start updating.

Has there been any official acknowledgement of this issue? I’m on SU8 and it still won’t update my scores. This has been going on for a month now. What gives?

Check post# 39 from Feb 19 posted by VisitingGolf112. He said that he reported this to MS/Asobo and that it came back from them that it was solved and closed case. See the screenshots that he provided.
Obviously, it’s not solved because we are all still having problems with this!

Did you install the latest version and try the landing challenges in Activities re: leaderboard?

Yes I did this afternoon. unfortunately, I regret to to inform you that our problem still persists. they did not fix this issue yet. In addition, I have new issues after the update. The button that I had assigned to Speedbrake Arming on the large jets no longer works. I tried everything and no luck so far. Also, my throttles on the large jets are acting funny. They spool down sporadically w/o any logic. As always, some things are improved & updated, and others that were working perfectly get trashed. We will see what happens.

So, this bug has not been fixed with SU8…
Anything from Microsoft/Asobo? Will they ever fix this, or am I wasting my time reporting problems?

Some things I just don’t understand. It’s an ongoing issue that alot of people are reporting and Asobo seems to not to be responding to it. I hope that your reporting and others aren’t going on deaf ears.
But who knows. All we can do is hope that it’ll be corrected.

Congrats! I only managed 507800 in my first attempt there. My rollout was way too long and I got only 228 points.

The new challenge in the main screen is the only landing challenge where the scores appear in the leaderboard.
All landing challenges in Activities have a dead Leaderboard…

None of my scores update on the leaderboards or get retained for any landing challenge, although my grades do. This sounds similar to a few of the reports in this thread. It has been like this for weeks.
Hello everyone!
I have found a fix for this issue. It appears that certain parts of MSFS are not auto updating, and some of these parts include the world updates and the landing challenges themselves. I was suffering from the same problem with leaderboards not updating, but after I updated the landing challenges through the content manager the leaderboards updated flawlessly.
TLDR: Update the landing challenges through the content manager and the leaderboards will work again

I too have landing challenge scores that have not been updating in months. However, I am always meticulous in checking after updates that everything in content manager is updated, including all the landing challenges.
When you post:

can you clarify if you went to content manager to see if there were updates available and then installed them?
(The alternative is a delete and re-install of these from the content manager… and I wanted to cover both possibilities)

Clarification: I went to the content manager and saw there were updates available for a variety of things, including some individual landing challenges themselves.
Update: This hasn’t seemed to work for all landing challenges that were bugged for me, only a few

Additional clarification because I didn’t word the last post too well: I then clicked on the landing challenges that said “update available” and clicked download.
The landing challenge that doesn’t seem to want to work for me now is the “Famous: Ronne” one. I thought that me not having the Nordic POIs and procedural buildings updated might have effected things (Ronne is in Denmark which is in the Nordics) but after updating those packages the leaderboard still wouldn’t update.
I then decided to delete the Ronne landing challenge in the content manager and reinstall it, which I got the idea from @tamalien who mentioned something about deleing and reinstalling stuff. That did not fix the leaderboard issue. (I’ll also note that I didn’t restart the game in between uninstalling and reinstalling the landing challenge which might also be a fix)
My next idea would be to reinstall the entire game but even if that does work it seems like quite the hassle to do every time the leaderboards break.

I have the same problem (since WU 5). Flight Simulator and Windows have always been updated immediately. Unfortunately there has been no improvement so far. I can’t understand why a bug in such a simple function isn’t fixed.

I’ve been getting the same problem for a while. Either challenges not saving the result or now with Iberia my previous score (Higher) being overwritten by the new one (lower). I’ve asked multiple times during the dev Q&A on twitch and the questions seems to be ignored every time.
