The airport and downtown are nice, and landing on the USS Midway is challenging. I do wish they had not included the jet blast deflector near the bow. And how come the Midway is the only naval ship in port? Take a look at the Google satellite picture of the harbor and you’ll find quite a few more military ships.
I bought this when it first came out in the store as I fly out of KSAN a lot. It looks fantastic all around. If you fly out of KSAN regularly, it’s worth the price IMHO. 2 thumbs WAY up from me.
msfs-2020 Are there any plans to update San Diego International Airport to show the new terminal 1?

Wish another quality dev like ini or another dev would bring us an up-to-date KSAN as LVFR is more aircraft focused these days as their airports only got “maintenance updates”.

I doubt we’ll see a remake or significant update of SAN from LVFR. Their last major release was back in November 2022 (KBWI), and on their Facebook page in March they only mentioned “maintenance updates.” That makes me think they’ll just keep the product functional without making meaningful improvements.
It’s unfortunate. LVFR’s scenery was never top-tier, but they did manage to cover airports that our community wanted. Now it looks like they’ve shifted toward a quick cash-grab approach. Disappointing, but not really surprising.
